TASTER SESSION

A half day quick introduction to PMC, you will have the opportunity to make a simple pendant & experience the basics.

This is NOT a comprehensive Training merely an opportunity to have a play to see if Metal Clay is something you would like to learn about in more depth!

Session Fee = £45 (3 Hours Session) Includes 6g of PMC3

What do I need to bring?

* An Apron

*If you are already a crafter the chances are that you may well have equipment that we can adopt, if you have any rubber stamps or texture mats then please feel free to bring them with you.

* Silver & basic findings are included within the workshop price but additional items such as chains & chokers will be available to purchase on the day (at wholesale price). However, if you already have a chain that we could use for a necklace or bracelet please feel free to bring it along.

* Please bring along any pictures of Jewellery that inspires you, it can sometimes help as a starting point.

* Your Lunch!!

RING MAKING WORKSHOP

The PMC Ring Workshop is a day for people who are comfortable with using PMC & have had comprehensive previous experience (e.g. having completed an Introduction to PMC Workshop.  A minimum of Two rings will be made During the day & the Workshop will cover:

* Understanding PMC Ring Sizing
* Using a Ring Mandrel
* Creating a Band Ring
* Creating a Decorated Ring using mixed mediums, e.g. Stones & Glass
* Seamless Finishing

The PMC Ring Workshop Fee = £100 Includes 16g of PMC3 & a Ring Mandrel & Sizer to take away with you!

INTERMEDIATE PMC

This Workshop is for the next step, after the Introduction to PMC Workshop you will have have gained a good understanding & experience of PMC. 

The Intermediate PMC Workshop has been designed so that you will now learn some more advanced techniques:

* Using Semi-precious stones
* Using handmade glass cabochons
* Using Fine Silver Wire
* Different Finishing methods

Course Fee £100 Includes 25g of PMC3

A DAY OF PASTE

An opportunity to discover the versatility of PMC Paste, the Workshop will cover:

* Making a PMC leaf (or alternatively an organic object such as a seed pod)
* Painting & designing Bisque Beads
* Designing a necklace to utilise the completed Paste pieces

This Workshop will also give you the opportunity of studying & using some Beautiful Handmade Lampwork Beads made by Red Hot Sal (aka Sally Carver), a leading UK based Bead Designer.

This is a pleasant Workshop but is a time critical day due to the process, because of this previous PMC experience is required.

A Day of Paste Workshop Fee = £95 Includes 6g of PMC3 & a Pot of PMC3 Paste

 RESIN WORKSHOP

Learn how to apply coloured Resins & Cold Enamels to your PMC Pieces to give a wonderful & colourful finish to your Silver.

This workshop is aimed at people who have already attended the Introduction to PMC Course & so already have experience of using PMC.

In this workshop you will create some PMC Pieces & then learn about different types of Resins & Cold Enamels that are currently available including the amazing UV Resins.

Workshop Fee = £100 Includes 16g of PMC3 & use of  Resins

TOOL MAKING WORKSHOP

Ooooh, our favourite!!!!  A fun day for people who have now grasped the basics of PMC & would now like to learn how to make inexpensive tools to create their own style & unique work.

We will make:

    • Moulds - Mould as many of the Minx treasures you can find at the Studio, this is the only Workshop where you have access to all of the Minxy Trinkets!!!
    • A Leaf Mould - An alternative to time consuming Paste Leaves
    • Polymer Clay Texture sheets - A great way for making organic textures & we will show you how to make the faux Repousse sheet.
    • Photopolymer Texture Mats - Please bring along some of your own pictures/drawings (please ensure that they are copyright free!)
    • Make your own Name Stamp using Standard PMC which can then be used to stamp in wet clay or on your moulds/texture mats
    • Stone Setting Toolset - The only opportunity available to make this beautiful tool, otherwise you have to buy it at £25!!!!  Obviously only if you want it BUT trust us when we say you'll want it when you see it!!! ;0)
    • 100% Plastic Playing Card Spacer Set
    • Stencils & Templates - Using 100% Playing Cards, Printer & Laminator
    • Apertures
